Building Furniture is an art. One I have fully embraced. I love the details of how a piece is created all the way through to the finished product. I imagine the people using it as the piece ages. I make sure the joints will survive daily use. I pick a finish that isn’t going to fail in 5 or 15 years. I want this piece to age as gracefully as I am.

I've met Ina May Gaskin several times, including on The Farm where she lives. She was my inspiration when I was studying Midwifery.
I was able to attend births both in Ontario and in the Netherlands during my Midwifery studies. I attended over 100 births during my time, learning many ways to help pregnant persons have the best birth, even if everything doesn't go as planned.
